  新會長的話 - Bertha Huang 李碧娥
親愛的NATWA姊妹：
NATWA 新的年度已經開始。首先我要感謝我們剛卸任的會長月英，在過去這一年來，對 NATWA無限的付出，並隨時都不忘 “牽我的手”，讓我有學習的機會。恭喜她很圓滿的完成會長的任務。
再來要感謝大家給我這個很特別的機會，來代表 NATWA 、來替大家服務。如有任何建議，歡迎大家給我e-mail 或者電話連絡。
今年我們的主題是 Explore, Appreciate, Celebrate, 讓我們一起來探討、來學習、讓我們常常心存感激來服務，也讓我們一起來 Celebrate Every Moment!

 會長的感謝 - Anna Chang 張月英 (NATWA President 2011-2012)
親愛的NATWA姊妹：
五月一日是NATWA 新的工作年度的開始，讓我們一起來歡迎新任會長李碧娥及副會長陳香梅上任。這也是張月英與工作團隊一起退任的時刻，在此， 感謝姊妹們給我這一個擔任會長來服務 NATWA的機會。
過去這一年來，由於各個工作組長的努力，NATWA 的會務蒸蒸日上，會員的向心力有增無減，至3月底，繳交會費的會員人數達到了一千人。相對的NATWA財務也更加健全。這是我們全體會員的功勞，讓我們為自己喝彩；同時也為所有為NATWA 會務用心用力的姊妹們鼓掌致意。
特别要感謝 來參加今年4月19至23日於Silicon Valley 舉行NATWA 年會的姊妹們，由於你們的熱心參與，參加人數達到349人，會場熱鬧滚滾；會員大會人數超過法定人數，順利進行。姊妹們及其夫婿不只沉醉於《愛心與關懷》的姊妹情中；而且受惠於聆聽謝若蘭與 Ho-Chi Tsai的主題演講。每一精心設計的節目，因為你們的到場，更加生動有趣，這確實是一個成功的年會!
再 來要感謝年會所有的工作人員，他們於幕前幕後忙進忙出，使年會順利完成；尤其是年會總幹事林春惠、眷屬節目負責人游仲雄、及理事會與會員大會的策劃人邱素 娟、北加州分會會長王慧靜與底特律分會會長黃玲玲及會員們鼎力相助；兩天的晚會更是年會的重頭戲，矽谷之夜策劃人劉玲霞、陳香梅，NATWA 之夜策劃人陳素連功不可沒。年會的照片整理之後，將會傳給大家。
NATWA 的可貴是，各屆會長及其團隊的‘交棒’與‘接棒’無縫銜接，敬請姊妹們持續地支持新會長李碧娥及她的團隊。

Dear NATWA Sisters,
Greetings!
It's May 1, the beginning of NATWA's new year, 2012-2013. Let us extend our heartily welcome to Bertha Huang, the new president, Mei Lu, the Vice President, and their team of excellent and enthusiastic members who are taking over the reign of NATWA for the coming year!
Summing up the past year, 2011-2012, we are delighted to inform you that, by the end of March, we have increased our membership up to 1000! We have also strengthened our financial status through our collective fundraising efforts. We thank everyone for making this progress possible!
We have just wrapped up a successful annual convention held on April 19-22 at Silicon Valley in California. Thanks to the 349 participants who joined us for the most exciting four days of fellowship. We not only bathed in the love and compassion of the sisterhood but also listened to inspiring keynote speeches given by Dr. Jolan Hsieh and Dr. Hochi Tsai. The convention truly has lifted our spirits and renewed our friendships.
Let us give our sincere thanks to Julie Yu, and her hard working team, Mr. John Yu, who was in charge of the excellent Spouse/Partner Program, Su-Chuan Chuang, who organized both Board and the General Membership Meetings (and all the behind-the-scenes preparations), and Nancy Yang, Mei Lu, SuLien Chen, the Program Directors of Silicon Night and NATWA Night. The convention could not have been a success without their full-hearted involvement and support. We are forever grateful for their dedication and hard work! Please await for the photos of the memorable events coming through the e-mail.
I also wish to point out the seamless transfer of the leadership of NATWA. Join us in a warm welcome and best wishes to Bertha Huang, our new president of 2012-2013 and her team!
